For the sake of sheer cost, I baught a 7th gen short shifter and just put it in my 90 celica. works like a charm, the difference between 1st and second gear is like 1.5 inches! loving it, going for a spin right now..

ill get pics up sometime

my friends digi broke, but i will try to take some with my phone sometime.

also, the shifting seems to be a lot smoother with it in, i only jerked a little bit every now and then when driving hard, but even while driving hard i never jerk now

yes and no. the B&M shortshifter fits both i know this for sure. the TWM has different models. I think the OEM shifters are the same but im not 100% sure...i do know that my GT-S shifter worked in my All-Trac after using some washer shimms to raise the shifter housing...

FYI a 90-99 corolla short shifter works, i have one in my car and it lowered shift points by about 2 inches on the bottem and 1 in ch up top

So I can buy listed above for my 91 GT and it installs no extras needed?? How much cheaper is that then buying Celica short shifter?
