first, i'd liek to say nice cars, love the color of the celi. Secondly, I'm all for interesting names, but just wanna make sure its fed and not a typo'd fred. I don't wanna meet you someday and call you fed, cuz if you think about it, if your name is fred, and I'd call you fed, wouldn't that make me sound a teensy bit retarded?

Yeah, my full name is Federic John/Fed, It's cool. People still call me Fred or Frederic all the time. Doesn't really bother me. I prolly would see you around since i attend to shows/races on the east coast (I haven't participated yet...) mostly HIN/SEMA/Battle of Imports. The next D1 event on the east coast I'll be definitely going since I haven't been on a huge drift event... :wiggle:

And thanks for the compliment guys

Oh my god... I think I just messed up my keyboard.... not a huge MR2 fan(except for early models, 80's), but that celica is just sexy as hell... Is that like a smoke/gunmetal color?

My wife has a 2002 Mazda 626 in like a smoke grey that's a few shades lighter than your 7th gen.

I'm still window shopping. I have coil-overs (TEIN SS-P) on the celica and I'm not too impressed with them. I know that a coil-over setup is better in the long run but alot of MR2 guys are just running springs+adjustable struts...I want to fix the oversteer and slight understeer the MR2 have.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I'm from Virginia Beach, VA. The only time I'm at NOVA is for HIN, but this year, if you guys have one of those NOVA meets or JDMSupercars meet, I'll be up there.

The celica is all aesthetics/suspension. Kinda lost interest ever since I bought my MR2, RWD>>FF. I can't part with the celica because it was my first car and everyone around my area pretty much knows me by my car and that's the only thing that makes me want to keep it. I DID however wanted to do a 3S-GTE swap on my 7th gen. Maybe when I'm done with the MR2, I'd get back on the celica. Here's a link for first and only one (that i know of):

Hey I love your celi's color. Nice 2. Welcome to the boards! Yeah that same company that swapped the 7th gen built my 3s in my silver celica. Their work is alright.

Did you go to Jamasco Performance? I spoke to him about his car awhile back but I don't think I'm going to him for the swap, I just want the engine mounts they fabricated, and there's not alot of demand for the 3sgte swap on the 7th gen so I don't think they will make more. That 7th gen is more of a shop car/demo I think.
