View Full Version : Phoenix Tuning is going FULLTIME in the very near future!

Well everyone, I've had just about enough of working nights, and several other things have gotten me seriously thinking about going fulltime out in the shop. For one thing, I'm tired of my job, and I really want to be able to dedicate more time out in the shop so that I can turn these swaps out faster. Plus, I want more flexablility in my own life.

That said, I'm now actively working towards making Phoenix Tuning a fulltime shop. I've already registered the business in the state of VT, and most of the related paperwork is taken care of.

Plans for the future include more engine swaps, developing turbo kits and other performance parts for the '90s and newer Celicas and Corollas, and eventually other cars, along with doing wiring harness conversions. I may dabble in buying, fixing, and selling cars as well, if those things don't keep me busy enough.

So, if you've thought about having an engine swap done, but you need it done quicker than a timeframe that I've previously given you, now's the time to hit me up again. And please spread the word!

Right now the launch date is looking to be in the next 4-5 months or so, by that time I'll have all of my debt paid off and the last of the tools that I need bought. So, end of May is the preliminary date!

Good to hear mang. I want to do a silvertop, but I don't know how the afm and boost will get along.

Silvertop = better for boost, stronger but heavier internals... the blacktop internals were lightened to take UBER revs.

Tweak, I think this should be posted under general auto. I mean OT is fine, but since this is GENERAL AUTOMOTIVE in nature, it should prolly be in there. Have an OT mod move it if you want. If not, piss off :)

What Luni said.

For that matter, can't you do it? :)

Luni likes to delegate responsibilities, he is koo like that.

Grats Tweak. I envy you. Good luck and I hope to send some business your way. :bigthumbu

Wanna do an H22A-4th gen Accord swap? They're really easy and I've got step-by-step instructions...I just don't have a heated garage....

congratulations man. i wish you nothing but success for your shop. i wish there were more guys like you around especially near the midwest so I can get my swap done. In the future, when I do plan on getting a swap done to my car, I would definitely take a road trip out there and get it done by you. thanks for your help in the celica world. much appreciated

Congrats Tweak. I am highly considering doing a 1mzfe swap. After seeing the quality job that you do on the wiring and the whole job in general I am considering you for the swap.

I'd be happy to, I've researched the swap because I was going to do that very one for a friend of mine, but it fell through. Let me know.

Thanks you guys, I sure hope to hear from you!

Hey, I may be interested in getting a wiring harness done very shortly if at all possible. The guy that was originally supposed to do it decided not to so I wasted a bunch of money on shipping and now I just want to get it done. 3SGTE in a 90 Celica GT-S. Right now I have the MR2 harness but I might be trading the engine and harness for a full GT4 front clip. Anyway, if you could let me know that would be great. Thanks.

Hehehehehe....................

Dr.Tweak: you can help me install a blacktop 4A-GE 20V into my 78 Fiat X-1/9 Auto-X car............. But that might be awhile after having spent 7k just on suspension.

Things are going well but I'm going to this new shop so I won't have to worry about running the business end so much.

Waiting on another block right now :)
