:stupid: The body work is well done, but why would anyone want to do that :ugh:

Mister2T

yeah it does look good, but indeed why?

PhillyDRFT

maybe because it costs way less to own and insure a 96 Toyota than a Ferrari?

Mister2T

He's in the UK. I'd say buy a salvage yard Fiero and do that, but no UK Fiero.

just waiting for a point... kit cars are a hobbie thats been around forever. So what if the guy wants to do that to his MR2, god forbid he doesnt enjoy the car the exact way it came from the factory like most extreamists nor does he want to look like a vin diesel rice mobile. to each there own, the body work is done VERRY well, ive seen some horrid fiero kit cars around here. The mr2 is clearly the better choice for building a kit car like that.
For some people it's about faking the ferrari but for others it's just about making the car something totally different than what you started with. He succeded

i think its a goodlooking car. in person its gona be shorter than a ferrari. but it is alot nicer than fiero conversion and alot faster than it also. i would have left it a drop top though. but think about a car like that with a 3sgte turbo pushing 300hp or more. it would be fun !!! and i dont think it was a waste of a good car. he takes care of it and did do an awsome job in enhancing the looks and performance. just my 2cents.

It's stupid. Waste of a good car, and he did it to fake a Ferrari.

that is some damn good body work! In the end he likes it.....and soon he will realize that the girls want him for the money but when he takes the girls back to his place which is a shaddy appt...that will quickly dissappear....

:stupid: Brilliant job, very professional. But I would rather it stayed an MR2.

On another note, I didn't know they made an MR2 droptop...I know about the targa tops...

I think it looks sweet as hell. I love it. Too bad the car won't make the same sound as a Ferrari :( That's half of what makes the Ferrari great in my opinion. I would kill to have my car sound like one.

Very well done and awesome looking, but to me it is just odd. There is an accord that was converted to an M3. It is in magazines sometimes mostly because of it's dark red marbalized hood which is pretty tight. In my opinion it is just turning something into something it was not. You can take an RX-7 and trick it out to look really nice, but you still keep it an RX7. you didn't make it into a lamborghini. I do respect him because to me modding imports is just an expression, so he did what he wanted to not caring what others thought. He has got my respect, I just have different taste than he does.

A friend of mine said that he could've done much better. When I asked him what he meant by it, he said "this guy obviously has a lot of skill and talent and he wasted all his money on this. He could've done something better with all that money."

I just replied to him "he just did exactly what he wanted with his money; he built the car exactly the way he wanted it". I don't think you can do much better than that with your own money.

I always did like those body conversions. It looks sooo sweet. I wouldnt change the badges or anything. I'd leave the MR2 emblem on there. There is a kit for the newer MRSpyder to make it look like a ferarri too. That one is crazy looking also.

I think the car looks good.. But I would have left it DE-BADGED... NO emblems at all that way you would have people guessing... And when they say man what kinda car is that... and you bust out with "it's an MR2" they would be stunned...

Kinda like taking 1500 Chevy's and putting on a cadillac clip.. That kills me... It would be ok if they say nope its still a silverado or 1500 but most of them badge them as a escalade...

I HAVE A QUESTION......
How would you register that car? Ferrari or Toyota?

I think it was well done. Very clean. Its a nice 4 banger ferrari.

I think the car looks good. I also find it very very odd to see this type of conversion but its good to see something different.
