i was doing some more random searching on ebay and came up with this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7942886016&category=33631

i know i've read here before that an mr2 header doesn't fit our cars, but i can't remember why. it looks like it could fit. maybe i just have false hopes.

input?

Think something to do with clearance issues.

Camry's won't fit cause the Camry doesn't have the same (or at all) location for the front motor mount, so the Camry header (Brosal, it's still sitting in my garage!) requires removng the front motor mount.

The MR2 (Hotshot 4-1) will fit, but you have to relocate the lowerbrace about 1/2", which is what I had done. I say just go with the Hotshot header they now make for the Celica, which is the same asthe MR2 one, but with it adjusted to allow for the brace under the motor.

MR2 header doesn't fit do to clearance, Holligan just put a Camry header on his Celi and didn't have to remove anything. He has a thread about it here some where. Search for it

mr 2 header wont fit cause the oil filer on the celica 5s is in the way

then why does the ripp mods 5sfe camry header not fit celicas? It says on the ripp mods site. Isn't the locations of the front pipes different on celicas and camrys?

Read my post....

The only thing that causes a problem with the MR2 is the brace under the engine bay that needs to be moved 1/2".

That is a MR2 Hotshot header in my 92 Celica. I also have a Brosal/Brospeed 4-2-1 Header in my garage that fits a Camry 5SFE, and it won't fit without PERMANENTLY REMOVING the front motor mount. I got it on Nopi Online....

Haven't seen a pic of the Ripp header. PM Holligan and ask him to check the the pic to see if it is designed like his. It is possible they redesigned it and the new design doesn't have the clearance for the celi.

hmmmm well i don't know if the header (http://mysite.verizon.net/res7aric/id8.html) is the same exact one, but this fella certainly got an na mr2 header to fit on his 5th gen. There was some modification needed to be done but he got it none the less, for way cheaper than gettin the hotshot header or pacesetter *coughshitcough*!!
