Bought an 01 GT and looking to do some basic maintenance. Has 72k on it and recently replaced drive belt and looking to replace plugs. Any suggestions/recommendations in this areas. Also will be looking at some (short-ram) intakes so any suggestions there would be helpful.

72K.... hmmm.... change spark plugs, no need replacing wires, we use coil packs, its doesnt use a distributor cap... clean MAF sensor, change oil, flush coolant/radiator replacing it with fresh one.
Intake... Injen short ram or CAI depending on were you live if it rains alot.

Thanks James D. I'm obviously new and learning (and obviously have a lot to learn :)). Any recommendations on plugs?
Intake? I live in Missouri so rain is pretty moderate. Where's a good place to look ...ebay?
Good looks on the car by the way!

Thanks guys. I picked up some NGK plugs and K&N Typhoon Short Ram and got 'em in. I've heard that heavier guaged ground wires are a good idea too - supposedly can improve hp, mpg, and overall electrical system efficiency. Is this true? Any recommendations there?
It is wise to ensure that your engine is well grounded. Its typically a good idea to have grounds going:
From the Transmission to the chassis (this one IS a must)
From the engine head to the chassis
From your battery to the chassis
From your alternator to the chassis
I would run 8-4 gauge on these :)

Thanks Sean. Any ideas where I might find some. Are they universal fit packages or model specific ground wire kits? Where?
Wire is wire for the most part. The hardware store should be able to supply you with at least some 8 gauge, as well as the corresponding connectors.

The cheapest bet on wire is going to the local hardware store like sean said.

Not much is up, except it takes me a long time to reply. And its too damn cold here. I want to fix and clean my car, but doing it in the snow isn't very fun.
