Hello Fellow HardCore Drivers...

While my ST is out of comission I've decided to get some wheels to make my ST look good while parked at the competition. Since I've got camber adjustibility I've learned that more camber is good while autoXing depending on track characteristics! Hey!, I got TEIN plates. hehehe!

I got me a set of 14x7 Work Equip 01's with a +25mm OffSet... Soon to be mounted are a set of Azenis(195/60).

On to the pictures already... :slap: Okay...okay...

Enjoy let me know what you think!

Sweet fucking wheels...but why are you mounting such a tiny tire on that wide of a rim?

It's not that bad of a fit. I've seen some of the drift guys mount 195 rubber on a 9 inch wide wheel before. Anyway, a stretched sidewall has better turn-in responce and a lighter feel to it... That being said, I still go with "wider is better" for autox just for that lateral grip :)

So far from what I've read Azenis are superb tires for AutoX and thats what size they come in 14's actually the only size they offer. If a tire such as the Azenis had 205 or even 215's I'd go for it but non I've seen so far. I'll probably try other tires but for now Azenis.

I may try 205 BFG's but they're regular tires with a treadwear of 400... weaksauce...hehehe

Here's an online frens 195 Azenis on 7.5" Wide Wheels, its not that bad.

Man, that actually looks pretty hot

And if you do autocross, don't bother getting anything other than Azenis. Nothing else in a 14" size will come close, unless you start talking race rubber.

Agreed any-other is more expensive and may require shaving. So yea it'll be Azenis for now...

Azenis.....very good choice. About 1/3 of the guys in my club run them and they are a great bang for the buck. I still want a set of DOT Heisiers (sp?) though with the fiberglass cords. hubba hubba :bigthumbu

I still like the look of the widest tire you can get on a certain width rim though. The 14" Azenis look very sexy on 6" wide rims.

Well, my daily driver summer wheels are 14x6 with the 195/60R14 Azenis. Used to be 14x5.5 with the same size Azenis.
