View Full Version : Air intake on alltracs?

Is it worth it to do a cold air intake on a 92 all track? Are there even any intakes out there for the 92 alltracks? I have heard that K&N makes one, any thoughts? Thanks!

no need for cold air intakes on a turbo car because the turbo heats up the air. a better option would be to look into an intercooler upgrade.

Cold air works just as good on a turbo engine. It means the turbo heats the air up that much less......

There are no real aftermarket intakes for a Alltrac. And absolutly ZERO cold air kits. There are a few companies that make adaptors for the AFM. K&N, Blitz are 2 that I know of. Might not be listed for the Alltrac, so look under 90-95 MR2 Turbo. Keep in mind, the AFM is placed different on a MR2 though, so you can't use the same piping. You need an adaptor that connects the filter directly to the AFM.

There are several companies that make drop in filters. HKS, TRD, K&N, ect.
